"Salad Oh! Init pa!" What's is this?

While I was scanning my facebook my cousin posted this in his profile.

REPOST: DAVAO CITY VICE MAYOR Rody Duterte stated earlier: all those who are caught by word " SALAD OH, INIT PA" would end up in PRISON...

What is that? Do you really have to go to prison for saying that phrase? So I posted bakit? no one answered. I asked my sister in-law what is this word? she just answered me that she heard it in FM DJ's saying that always making it as an expression.

So I googled it and of course I found the answer. I came to a blog which explains what and where did it begin.

They said, it all started in Cagayan Oro where may isang tindero ng fruit salad na nagsisigaw ng "Salad Oh!" mostly nagbibinta sya sa gabi sa night market at nigh cafe. Di nagtagal nilagyan ng kung sinu sino ng word na "Init Pa!"imbes ng Malamig pa. Naging expression ito especially sa mga bisaya (cebuano)  hanggang ginawa na itong kanta o sayaw "Budots". Naging uso na ito hanggang binigyan ng ng ibang meaning. 

Sabi nila pag babae ka at sinabihan ka nito meaning "Maganda Oh! Sexy Pa!" may second meaning din ito  "Chicks Oh! Virgin Pa!" which is not good dahil para naring word form ng sipul na "Witwew!".

Hindi ko alam kung totoo ang post ng pinsan ko sa fb at hindi ko rin alam ang reason kung bakit bawal. Marami ang nag react kasi wala na raw silang freedom of speech. Syempre sa lahat ng bagay meron din tayong limitasyon.

Jessica Sanchez : Sweet Dream Dreams - American Idol by Yasmene

I just want to share a video of my little girl (Yasmene Grace) . I love to take video's of her singing. I have many videos of her already in my computer. I uploaded this one, it's one of her favorites, Jessica Sanchez's Sweet Dreams by Beyonce. She can sing many songs already because of her good retention and the love for music.  Thank God for giving her gifts. :)

A Mother's Day Poem (Tagalog)

This Sunday the Youth and children of First Mlang Southern Baptist Church made a poem just for mothers. I love the poem because it is somewhat funny but real. I asked for a copy from Jed so that I can also share it all the moms in the world.

The Essence of a mother

A mother is someone that nurtures and care, someone that loves unconditionally, a  mother's first instinct should protect all her children.

I found this video in you tube just this day and it touches me, makes me want to cry because I can relate to it. I can see myself and my daughter in this video. It was uploaded by Promil Pre-school my child's milk. It is dedicated to the mothers their special day.

I love to reminisce the moments that I and my mom shared. My mom is a strong willed woman. After our father left us, even in hard situations my mom never left us, she had the role of our father as well. I cannot imagine myself growing without my mother. She supported us and loved as equally. I'm so proud of her and I thanked God for giving me a mom like her. Although she had some failures, that does not change the love for my mom. She will always be a special person to me. And now that I am a mom, I support, love and care for my kids. Never surrender in tough times because they are my inspiration.

In this special day let us celebrate the presence of our  mother's in our lives for being there for us, thank them for the love, care, and support that no other person can give. Show them love for what they have done for us. Happy Mother's Day! :)

3. Audition Guidelines
• Each audition video must have a unique receipt as proof of purchase, only one (1) receipt per entry is allowed
• Only one (1) video per child auditioning is allowed
• You may audition or upload multiple auditions but for different children, in case you have more than 1 child (ages above 3 years to 7 years old). Each entry should have a unique copy of the receipt or proof of purchase
• The audition booth will be open from 11AM-3PM for the on the On-Ground Program. Each child can only audition once. Those who did not make the cut-off can still audition via online or send-in option
4. Fifty (50) shortlisted finalists will perform live in front of a panel of judges. Then, thirty (30) semi-finalists will be screened down to ten (10). The remaining twenty (20) wild card entries will be posted online for public viewing and voting in which two (2) of them will be chosen to complete the Top 12 i-Shine Talent Academy finalists
5. There will be online voting for I-Shine Grand Winner
